頑張って勉強してるつもりなのに
手応えというか実感というか
やった感が全く感じられない。
TOEFLの目標スコアiBTで82以上取らないと
こっちのcollegeには入れないので
今は一生懸命TOEFLの勉強してるけど…。
果たして９月までに取れるのか。
それにスコア取らないと日本に帰れない。
何しに１年以上もカナダにいたんだ？
と思われたくはないのでどうしても
目に見える証拠というか実績というか
証明みたいなのが欲しいねんなぁ。
先の見えない暗いトンネルをくぐってるみたいで
フラフラと誘惑に負けてTOEFLなしでも入れる
college transfer programっていうコースのある
語学学校の話を聞いた。
それでこの語学学校のplacvement testを昨日受けてきたんだけども、
このコースに入るにはレベル８以上でないと入れない。
placement testの結果。
レベル７。
はぁ。
全然ダメやんか。ワタシ。
そこの語学学校の担当者と話したんだが
reading がめっちゃ弱い。10/20
Listening はまぁまぁok。 13/20
grammerとvocabularyはそこそこ。
writingはgood。
writingはそりゃ、TOEFLのセクションで
毎日毎日、時には１日３本書いたりして50本以上は書いてるもん。
goodっていうてもらわないと困る。
readingが弱いっていうのはほんまにわかってる。
意味がわからない。
多分返り読みしてて日本語で理解しようとするから
時間も全く足りない。
ま、いっか。
ウィークポイントが分かったし
勉強する箇所がわかっただけでも
受けた意味があったって思ったらええのかな。

I haven't attended to school recently after finish ILAC.
I am sure my English skill is getting worse.
However, after my new roommate came here, we often use english better than before.
最近覚えた言葉。
■brag:自慢する
He braged himself.
■lack in common sense:非常識
He is lacking common sense.
He lucks in common sense.
■cast no dirt in the well that give you water.
:立つ鳥後を濁さず
(あなたに水をくれる井戸の中に泥を投げるな)
■be indifferent to:無関心
She said she is clean mania, but I'm wondering she is indifferent to clean the sink.
彼女、きれい好きって言ってたのに、流し台の掃除に興味がないのは何でだろう。
■Give me a hard time:困らせる
So just stop giving me such a hard time.
(あんまり困らせないでよ)
■generally speaking:一般的に
Generally speaking, most Korean students don't care to speak Korean even though other students from foriegn countries are there.
